Last rites for Elsie W. (Mrs. Louis) Riedesel, 89, will be held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wheatland, at 10:30 a.m. March 25, 1993 with the Rev. Harold Koenig officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's cemetery. Pallbearers are Donald, Jeff and Steven Riedesel, Glenn and Christopher Bunge and Tom Bell Jr. Honorary bearers are James Riedesel and Bill Tryan. Barbara Wiebel is organist and Kathy Patterson vocalist. Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. today (March 24) at Chapman's in Wheatland.

Mrs. Riedesel died at the Jackson County Hospital March 21.

The daughter of Ernst and Kathrine Riedesel Rowold, she was born at Wheatland May 3, 1903 and spent her life in the community. She married Louis A. Riedesel at Davenport Oct. 26, 1921. He died in 1975. She was a member of St. Paul's church.

She is survived by 2 sons, Wayne, Wheatland, and Robert, Huntington Beach, Fla.; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 sisters, 3 brothers and a great-grandson.
