Funeral services for Eunice M. (Mrs. Millard) Spencer, 84, were held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wheatland, Jan. 11, 1993 with the Rev. Harold Koenig officiating. Burial was in St. Paul's cemetery. Pallbearers were Scott William Spencer, Daniel Reid Spencer, Matthew Gates Spencer, Paul Harris Spencer, Michael Reid Spencer and Alex James Abrahamson. Barbara Wiebel was organist and Kathy Patterson, soloist.

Mrs. Spencer died at the Alverno Health Care Center, Clinton, Jan. 7.

The daughter of Hugo H. and Anna Wagner H. Ballhorn, she was born at Wheatland June 1, 1908 and with the exception of the past 18 months, spent her life in Wheatland. She graduated from Wheatland high school and was married to Millard Spencer at Wheatland Dec. 25, 1930. She taught in the rural school near Wheatland. Mrs. Spencer was a lifelong member of St. Paul's church.

She is survived by 2 sons, Roy, Clinton and Reid, Marshalltown; a daughter, Roxanna Spencer, Toms Brook, Va.; 6 grandchildren and a brother, Harry Ballhorn, Sabula.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
