Funeral rights for Beulah G. (Mrs. Albert) Buchanan, 87, were held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wheatland, Nov. 30, 1992 with the Rev. Harold Koenig officiating. Burial was in the Pine Hill cemetery, Wheatland. Pallbearers were Dr. Gerald, Dr. Tom, Matt and Chad Buchanan, Mike Betzer, Jim Smith, Dave Ehrig and Tom Hidder. Barb Wiebel was organist and Kathy Patterson sang.

Mrs. Buchanan died at Wheatland Manor Nursing Home Nov. 27.

The daughter of William and Minnie Endorf Muhl, she was born at Wheatland March 30, 1905. She graduated from Wheatland high school in 1923 and attended college for a year. She taught in the country schools.

She married Albert Buchanan at Wheatland May 12, 1928. He died in September, 1979. She spent her life in the Wheatland community, where she was a member of St. Paul's church, the Pythian Order, Martha Aid, Wheatland Manor Auxiliary and the Noon Homemakers.

She is survived by 3 sons, Don, Grundy Center; Dean, Cook, Minn.; and Dave, Wheatland; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.
