Elsie McCabe 01/17/1999 DeWITT, Iowa -- Services for Elsie G. McCabe, of DeWitt, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, DeWitt. Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt, with a Scripture service at 8 p.m. Mrs. McCabe died Friday, Jan. 15, 1999, at DeWitt Community Hospital. She was employed for 36 years as a seamstress at Davenshire Inc., Davenport. Elsie Goslowsky was born June 29, 1912, in Haberspirk, Austria. She married Thomas McCabe in 1928 in Davenport. He died in 1963. A memorial fund has been established. Survivors include daughters, Anna Kraklio, Tipton, Evelyn McCabe, DeWitt, and Catherine King, Grand Mound; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Kay Behr, DeWitt, and Helen Gardner, Davenport; and brothers, Walter Goslowsky, Sieverville, Tenn., Fred Goslowsky, LaHabra, Calif., and George Goslowsky, Stockton, Calif.
