Graveside services for Verney "Tuffy" Cavey, 75, Toronto, were held May 9, 1992, at St. James cemetery in Toronto, with the Rev. William Reynolds officiating.

Mr. Cavey died May 7 at St. Luke's hospital in Davenport.

The son of Mathew and Rosie Bielenberg Cavey, he was born May 29, 1916 in Clinton county. He operated a tavern in Toronto for many years.

Mr. Cavey is survived by a son, Laverne, Lafayette, Colo. and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister.
