Funeral services for Merle Bouschlicher, 73, Wheatland, will be held at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, May 13, 1992, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Harold Koenig officiating. Barb Wiebel is the organist and pallbearers are John Hart, Elwood Fuelling, Howard Muhr, Kenneth Rohling, Todd Rohling and David Daehn. Honorary pallbearers are Lawrence Riedesel, Ted Schneider and Charles Wentworth. Burial will be in Pine Hill cemetery.

Mr. Bouschlicher died May 10 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids.

The son of Rudolph and Rose Richman Bouschlicher, he was born March 4, 1919 in Clinton county. He married Eva Aaron March 16, 1948 in Iowa City. He was a retired farmer.

Mr. Bouschlicher is survived by his wife; 2 daughters, Donna Hartvigsen, Iowa City and Diana Anderson, Wheatland; a brother, Harold, Clarence; 6 grandchildren and a great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents.
