Last rites for Minnie (Mrs. William) Esbaum, 93, were held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wheatland, March 21, 1992, with burial in the Wheatland cemetery. Mrs. Esbaum died at DeWitt Community hospital March 18.

Minnie Hass married William Esbaum in Davenport in 1921. He died in 1975. She was a member of St. Paul's church and the Pythian Sisters, Dixon.

She is survived by 4 daughters, Wilma Gruenhagen, Davenport; Evelyn (Mrs. Clarence) Lamp, Muscatine and Emma (Mrs. Bob) Dahm and Hazel (Mrs. Wilbert) Pewe, New Liberty; a son, Melvin, Dixon; 25 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren; a sister, Hilda (Mrs. Melvin) Dickel, Wheatland and 2 brothers, Raymond Hass, DeWitt and Wilbert Hass, Wheatland.
