CLINTON — Vlasta K. Matheson, 84, of Clinton, died Tuesday at Mercy South Hospital.
There will be no visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded. Lemke Funeral Homes, North Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
She was born March 27, 1921, in the Czech Republic. She married Jack Matheson on Dec. 24, 1991, in Camanche.
She was a train conductor in the Czech Republic.
Survivors include one daughter, Eva Matheson of Clinton; one son, James Matheson of St. Louis; and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister.
