MORRISON, Ill. — Jennie Tichler, 93, of Morrison, died Monday Nov. 7, 2005 at Mercy North Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Ebenezer Reformed Church, Morrison, with the Rev. Jon W. Nienhuis, pastor of Ebenzer Reformed Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.

Pallbearers will be Carmen Church, Kay Finch, LeeAnn Thies and Dean, Myron and Todd Zuidema.

She was born Aug. 2, 1912, in Waarfum, Gronigen, the Netherlands, to Henry and Anna Schol Post. She married Arnold Tichler on March 5, 1934, in Fulton. He died in 1985.

She was educated in Fulton (Ill.) grade schools.

She was employed with Fulton Corp., formerly Patent Novelty in Fulton. After her marriage, she farmed along with her husband in the rural Morrison area before retiring in 1985.

She was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church where she was involved with choir, Ladies Aid, Lydian Society and served as pianist for the societies and the gospel team. She was a member of the Resthave Auxiliary and Whiteside County Farm Bureau.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Karen (Harvey) Zuidema of Morrison; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Ebenezer youth groups, for children in kindergarten through 12th grade, or the Ebenezer Choir.
