Funeral services for Harry Petersen, 81, Wheatland, will be held Aug. 15 a St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Wheatland, with burial in the Pine Hill cemetery.

Mr. Petersen died Aug. 12 at Jackson County Public hospital in Maquoketa.

He married Martha VandeBrande in 1928 in Rock Island. He was a retired farmer.

Mr. Petersen is survived by his wife; 3 sons, Charles and Larre, both of Wheatland and Harland, New Liberty; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Ed Bachus, Wheatland.
