Funeral services for Robert William Licht, 51, Wheatland, were held Jan. 3 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, the Rev. Harold Koenig officiating. Burial was in the Massillon cemetery.

Pallbearers were Mark Kelley, Larry Brauer, Dean Schneider, Charles Blume, Duane Buttlemann and Arlin Meier. Flower attendants were Patricia Kelley and Jennifer Brauer. Wilma Riedesel was organist.

Mr. Licht died Dec. 29 at University Hospitals, Iowa City, where he had been a patient 3 days. He was born Aug. 5, 1927 in Clinton county, the son of Arthur W. and Ida H. Gehrls Licht. He was a lifelong resident of the Wheatland area and a farmer. He married Darlene Brauer Nov. 11, 1955 at Oxford Junction.

Survivors are his wife, a son, Joe, his parents and a sister, Betty Licht, all of Wheatland; also another sister, Mrs. George (Eva) Kelly, La Porte City. He was preceded in death by 2 infant daughters.
