Mrs. William Lake, Jr., nee Louisa Hendricks died this morning at 10:30 o'clock at her home 739 Comanche avenue. Deceased was born at Erford, Germany, and came to America when she was 5 years old. She was united in marriage with Mr. Lake in Chicago December 27, 1882.
Surviving the deceased are her husband, and five sons and daughters. These are Charles, Sebastian and John Lake, Louisa Lake and Mrs. L. R. Higby. The daughters reside in Colorado.
The funeral arrangements were not made today.

The death of Mrs. Louisa Lake (nee Louisa Hendrick), born Oct. 15, 1853 in Eldord, Germany, occurred Saturday, July 3 at 10:35 a.m.
The deceased came to America at the age of four, the family settling in Chicago. She was married to William Lake, Jr. Dec. 27, 1881, coming directly to Clinton, where she resided until her death.
She is survived by her husband, three sons, Charles, Sebastian and John, all of Clinton, two daughters, Mrs. Louis R. Higley, Queenland, Colo., and Louisa Lake, of Colorado Springs. Besides these there are six sisters, Mrs. S. Greenway and Mrs. Joseph Lowry, both of Colorado Springs; Mrs. Minnie Publow, Mrs. Lillie Muhlberger, Mrs. Adam Schlorer and Mrs. Albert Schomberg, all of Chicago.
The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the family residence, 739 Camanche aveune.
