17 January 1918 - The Clinton Advertiser

Charles Rayworth, a long-time resident of Clinton county, passed away Wednesday evening at his home in Shaffton. The deceased was 66 years of age, and has been ailing for some months. He spent the greater part of his life in Clinton, where for years he conducted a dye establishment on Sixth avenue.

Mr. Rayworth is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Warren White, who lives in Shafton.

18 January 1918 - The Clinton Advertiser

The funeral of the late Charles Raworth will be held from the family home in Shaffton at one o'clock Saturday afternoon. Rev. Leamer of St. Paul's church officiating. The funeral party will come to Clinton on the interurban, reaching here at 2:30 o'clock, and the remains will be placed in a receiving vault in Springdale cemetery.

19 January 1918 - The Clinton Advertiser

The remains of the late Charles Rayworth were brought to Clinton this afternoon from Shaffton, where the former Clinton man's death occurred earlier in the week. The funeral party preceeded from the interurban to Springdale cemetery, where the remains were placed in a receiving vault.
