Mrs. Emma Kiser Schott, wife of Joe H. Schott, passed away at 5 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon at her home 228 Seventh Avenue, after a year's illness, due to a complication of diseases.

The deceased was born at LaTrobe, Pa., on May 25, 1854, and for many years had made her home in Clinton. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Earl and Carl Schott of Clinton, a daughter, Mrs. Alice Goble, and 2 grandsons, Willian and Ray Goble of Clinton, also four sisters and two brothers, living in Greensburg and LaTrove, Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Scott was a staunch friend and supporter of the Christian Home Orphanage at Council Bluffs, in the welfare of which institution she had long taken an active part.

The funeral will be private, and friends are requested not to send flowers.

The deceased was a member of the Presbyterian church, and Rev. H J. Rendall, pastor of the First church, will have charge of the funeral service.

The funeral of Mrs. Schott will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the family home, it was announced this afternoon. The pall bearers will be A. McCullough, Monroe Harvey, Will Smith, John Schaffer, E. Hill and O. Godskesen.

Private funeral services for the late Mrs. Emma Schott of 228 Seventh avenue were held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon at the family home, Rev. H. J. Rendall, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, conducting the services. Interment was in Springdale cemetery. The pall bearers were A. McCullough, Monroe Harvey, Will Smith, John Schaffer, E. Hill and O. Godskesen.
