January 14, 1918 - The Clinton Advertiser

Mrs. Louisa Henningsen, an old resident of this county, passed away at 10 o'clock Sunday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frederick Anderson, on Beaver Island, age 90 years. The deceased had been confined to her bed for two months.

Mrs. Henningsen's husband passed away ten years ago, and surviving her are four sons, Antone of Andover, Herman of Maquoketa, August of Clinton and Martin of Beaver Island; and three daughters, Mrs. Johanna Thompson, Mrs. Nick Boysen and Mrs. Andersen, all of this city.

Mrs. Henningsen had been a resident of the county for more than thirty years.

January 15, 1918 - The Clinton Advertiser

The funeral of the late Mrs. Louisa Henningsen will be held at one o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the residence of August Henningsen on Thirteenth avenue. Rev. Kuhl of Wartburg college officiating. The remains will be place in a vault in Springdale cemetery.

January 16, 1918 - The Clinton Advertiser

The funeral of the late Mrs. Louisa Henningsen was held at one o'clock this afternoon from the home of Mr. and Mrs. August Henningsen, 205 Thirteenth avenue, Rev. Mr. Kuhlman of Wartburg college, officiating. Interment was in Springdale cemetery.

The pall bearers were Ever Hansen, George Seek, Peter Carlsen, John Geronsen, John Ohrt and Gene Dandois.
