Jurgen Wohlenberg, age 71 years, a former resident of Wheatland, and well known in this city, where he resided a number of years, died at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of his son-in-law, Joe Reter in Camanche.

The deceased was born in Elmshorn, Holstein Germany, and came to America in 1868 and resided in Lyons a number of years. In 1870 he was united in marriage with Miss Kramer of Lyons.

He is survived by two daughters, Miss Hannah Wohlenberg, and Mrs. Bodenhofer, and one brother, Herman of Wheatland, also a son-in-law, Joe Reter of Camanche.

The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the German Reformed Church at Wheatland. Burial will be made in St. Paul's cemetery, Wheatland.
