Funeral services for Erich George Strackbein, 63, Wheatland, were held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wheatland, March 1, with burial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Strackbein died at Mercy hospital, Davenport, Feb. 26.

Born near Wheatland, he was married to Pauline Wagner at Bennett in 1943. He was a farmer.

He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, Mrs. Robert Kuehl and Mrs. Robert Schlotfeldt, both of Davenport, 2 grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Lillian Riedesel, Wheatland.
