Kim M. Fairchild, 64, of Clinton, formerly Bettendorf, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Eagle Point Health Care Center, Clinton, IA. Cremation will be done with a memorial service to be held 12:00pm, Saturday (10/23) at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory Davenport, IA. Memorials may be made to the Special Olympics of Iowa. Kim was born September 2, 1957 to James & Winifred (Green) Fairchild in Charlevoix, MI.
She had worked as a special education teacher and later as an in home care giver for special needs persons. Kim loved to play cards, board games, and going to amusement parks to ride the roller-coasters. He grandchildren were very special to her and she loved to spoil them.
Survived by a son Keith King, Clinton, IA; 2 grandchildren Jadyn and Brendyn King; 3 sisters Sally (Irv) Drost, Cadiz, KY, Judy Gray, Norton Shores, MI, and Betty (Lee) Spence Boyne City, MI; Sister in law Gloria Fairchild, Alpena, MI; and several nieces and nephews.
Kim was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Robert Fairchild.
