Donna R. Dawson, 86, of Camanche, passed away, Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Alverno.

Funeral Services will be 11:00am, Thursday , March 3, 2022 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Ries, Steve Orte, Joe Montgomery, Mike Montgomery, Dick Montgomery, and Jeff Moore. Visitation will be from 10:00am to the service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Donna Rae Moore was born on June 3, 1935 in Clinton, the daughter of Raymond and Generose (Weick) Moore. She was a 1953 graduate of Clinton High School. She married David W. Dawson on January 16, 1954 in Camanche, he passed away February 2, 2016.

Donna was employed with the Camanche School District as a cook for several years. She was a member of the Church of the Visitation. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to Florida and camping. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Donna is survived by her children: Diane (Keith) Goble of Maricopa, Arizona, and Dan (Pat) Dawson of Princeton, Iowa; one grandson: Michael Cain of Omaha, Nebraska; and her sister: Mary Ries of Clinton. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one brother.
