Donald N. Reher, 90, of Low Moor, Iowa passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021 at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City. Services will be held at 1pm Friday, December 31, 2021 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 9:00AM until the service hour Friday at the Funeral Home. Donald was born November 27, 1931 in DeWitt, the son of Fred and Katherine (Carstens) Reher. He married Donna Mae Hudson October 11, 1957 at the Low Moor United Methodist Church; she passed away April 23, 2008.

Donald had been employed as a truck driver his entire life, most recently retiring while at Clausen Companies in Clinton.

He was a member of the Clinton Moose Lodge #363. He enjoyed watching old Western’s, game shows(especially Jeopardy). He also enjoyed visiting with his many friends at the Moose Club, Bonnies, Hides Inn and Hunter’s in Low Moor to socialize.

Survivors include his son, David S. (Teresa) Reher of LaPlace, LA; daughter, Jane Holm of Camanche, IA; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and his sister, JoAnn Knutsen of DeWitt, IA.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, son Todd and son-in-law, Jay Holm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society or St. Judes Hospital.
