Molly Ann Bronkema, 86, of Camanche, formerly Clinton, Iowa passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Park Vista, Camanche. Services will be held at 11:00AM, Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the Catholic Church of the Visitation, Camanche. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until the service hour Thursday at the church. Burial will be in the Clinton lawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting snellzornig.com. Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory assisted the family with arrangements.
Molly was born July 11, 1935 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Russell and Catherine Irene (Flynn) Malone. Molly was a 1954 graduate of Clinton High School. Molly married Lyle Bronkema July 7, 1956 in Clinton, Iowa; Lyle passed away August 21, 2019.
Molly had been employed with admissions at Mercy Hospital for 18 years, retiring in 2010. She had also been employed at A.C. Nielsen Clearing House for 28 years.
Molly was a member of the Catholic Church of the Visitation, Camanche, was a volunteer at Mercy Hospital and was active with the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her daughter, Catherine (Richard) Borgman of Jupiter, Fl; grandson, Brian Borgman of Oviedo, FL and brother, John (Jackie) Malone of Cedar Rapids, IA.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and five brothers.
Memorials may be made to the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.
