Mark J. Porter, age 57 of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at his home. In following Mark's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Mark was born in Clinton on April 13, 1964, the son of Joseph and Lorraine "Tootie" (Andersen) Porter. He was employed at Collis Company. Mark enjoyed working, fishing, being with his dog, Mr. Big, hanging with his friends and following the Washington Football Team.
Mark is survived by brothers, Cliff (Deborah) Porter of Clinton and Joseph (Kelly) Porter of Bettendorf; a sister, Jody Porter of Chicago; a nephew, Michael Clark of Clinton, and special friends, Vicky Drury, Debra Downs and Jessica Wilder all of Clinton.
