Tommy Lee McCutcheon, 63, of Lost Nation, Iowa, passed away on Monday morning, September 27, 2021, at Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue, Iowa.

A celebration of his life will be held at 10 A.M., Saturday, October 2, 2021, at the Union Presbyterian Church in Lost Nation, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 5 to 7 P.M. at Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa. Burial will be at the Union Cemetery, rural Maquoketa, Iowa, with military honors.

Tommy Lee McCutcheon was born on June 23, 1958 in Iowa City, Iowa to Kermit Leroy and Darlene Mildred (Jones) McCutcheon. He was a 1977 graduate of Lost Nation High School and then served his country earning an honorable discharge.

Tommy had worked as an over the road truck driver from 1980 to 1983 and then again from 1999 to 2004. He had also worked for WADY'S in Maquoketa from 1997 to 1999.

Tommy was a member of Union Presbyterian Church in Lost Nation and the American Legion Menzo Widle Post #381 of Lost Nation. He enjoyed watching television, computers, and truck driving.

Those left to honor his memory include three brothers, James McCutcheon of Indianola, IA, Dave Barker of MO, and Ricky Barker of MO; and 12 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
