FULTON - Leonard F. Mitchell, age 64, died at his home Monday, September 6, 2021.
Leonard was born on April 20, 1957 in Clinton, Iowa the son of Lyle and Anna (Wiebenga) Mitchell. He married Loretta Dee on April 30, 1982 in Clinton, Iowa. Leonard enjoyed time with family and friends playing card and camping. He was an avid NASCAR and Green Bay Packers fan.
He is survived by his wife Loretta of Fulton; one daughter, Kelly Mitchell of Galena; two sons, Cody Mitchell of Sterling and James Mitchell of Clinton, Iowa; sisters, Leah Ann (Gregory) Duncan of Princeton, Iowa and Donna (LaVerne) Schroeder of Morrison; five other siblings; five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 9:00 - 11:00 AM Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Crossview Church in Fulton. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor Scott Stephen officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded. Arrangements were completed by the McDonald Funeral Home in Fulton.
A memorial has been established.
