Dennis Eugene Emmert, 36, died Sunday, August 1, 2021, at his home in Dubuque, IA.
Dennis was born June 19, 1985 in Dixon, IL to Dennis Langley Sr. and Sharee Emmert. If you knew Dennis you knew his daughter's were the light of his life. He had a funny personality and was the entertainment at all functions. Dennis loved listening to music, joking around and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include two daughters, Kalista Emmert and Bryanna Johannsen of Clinton IA. Brothers and Sisters include Charles (Ashlee) Drake of Dodge City, Kansas; Gena (Norberto) Meyo, Gary (Jennifer) Emmert, Tasha (David) Corbin, Jean (Enrique) Facio, Jane (Lucas) Reinhart all of Clinton, IA; Chris (Nikki) Emmert of Missouri; Jessy (Sherry) Langley, Dustin (Amber) Langley, Kyle Langley of Rockford, IL; DJ Langley, Nick (Miranda) Langley, Devon Langley of Rockfalls, IL; Grandmother Ila Stern Brinkkoeter of South Carolina. Several Aunts and Uncles, 54 nieces and nephews and 8 great nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents Dennis Langley SR, Sharee Emmert and step father Jose Medina. Maternal grandparents Rita Russell and Robert Sears. Paternal grandfather Carl Newton. Aunt Candy Langley. Daughter Alanna Emmert and two nieces.
