Mary was born February 8, 1926 in Grand Mound, IA to Raymond and B. Margaret (Moore) Wampfler. She was united in marriage to Carroll Feuerbach on August 30, 1947 in Davenport, IA. Her greatest joy was large family gatherings. She was an avid ballroom and polka dancer, a longtime golfer, and a member of several bridge groups and a couples’ card club that met for over 50 years. She enjoyed traveling the world, visiting her children living abroad and throughout the United States. Along with being an active and devoted mother, she worked in the family business, Carroll’s Dairy Stores, and later accompanied Carroll across the country for Cat Scales Company. The family is grateful to Mary’s loving caregivers for their devotion to helping her as she dealt with numerous health challenges during her last few years.

Those left to honor Mary’s memory are her children, Jackie (Cliff) Feuerbach-Meyer of Ponce Inlet, FL; Jim (Marlene) Feuerbach of Georgetown, TX; Joan (Jeff) Clough of Coal Valley, IL; Dr. Joel Feuerbach of Ripon, WI; Dr. Jon (Julie) Feuerbach of Colorado Springs, CO; and Jill DiOrio of Edgartown, MA. She has 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a sister Margaret Hansen of Rochester, MN, and many nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carroll, her brothers Winston, Jack, and Joe Wampfler, and her sister Elaine Raney.
