CLINTON - Mark Alan Ray, 61, of Clinton, IA died on Monday, May 31, 2021 at his home. Mark was born on November 18, 1959 in Springfield, IL, the son of Henry and Dorothy (Figenbaum) Ray. He married Shelby Parr on July 28, 1990 in Clinton, IA. Mark was employed as an automotive detailer for many years. He enjoyed walking his dogs and watching Dallas Cowboys football. Mark's family will remember him as a "neat freak" who loved cleaning cars!
Survivors include his wife Shelby of Clinton, IA; one son, Josh Ray of Fulton; two sisters, Marsha Bryant of Shelbyville, IL, and Marcy (Eric) Sager of Charleston, IL; and brother, Glenn (Jane) Ray of Sullivan, IL; brother-in-law, Bob Parr of Albany, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Matina Wiggins, and Becky Emel; and his mother-in-law, Linda Parr.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
