Jeanetta M. Schepler age 96 of Clinton, passed away Tuesday March 9, 2021 at The Alverno Healthcare Facility, Clinton. Private family funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery, Clinton. Jeanetta was born on Dec. 3, 1924 in Miles, IA, the daughter of Fred and Lillian (Aude) Moeller. She married Harry Schepler on Jan. 6, 1946 in Preston, IA; he died in 2008. Jeanetta was a homemaker and had worked at Nielsen Clearing House as a Unit Leader for 20 years. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the Mary Martha Circle, Sewing Circle, and enjoyed cross stitching.
Jeanetta is survived by her four children, Kenneth (Shirley) Schepler of Oviedo, FL, Deanna (Bryce) Petersen of Clinton, Ruth (Duane) Gray of Thomson, IL, and Barbara Slapnicka of Clinton; 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; her brother, Lester (Alice) Moeller of Preston; several nieces & nephews; and her sister-in-law, Betty Moeller of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, a sister, and a brother.
