Deadly Paris Green.
CLINTON, June 29—By eating rhubarb on which Paris green had blown from an adjacent potato patch, Mrs. Henry Plath and her infant son are dead. The poisoned vegetable was eaten Thursday evening, and almost immediately after the whole family were taken violently ill. Medical aid was summoned and physicians worked over the patients for many hours. All efforts to save Mrs. Plath and the infant were fruitless, and they died shortly afterward in horrible agony. Mrs. Plath was only 24 years of age.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows the mother was Augusta. She and the infant are both buried in Glahn Cemetery in Goose Lake.
