George W. Saxton, Civil War veteran and member of General N. B. Baker post, G. A. R., died at 12:05 p.m. today at the home of Albert Huebner, 420 Sixth avenue, North. He suffered a broken hip recently and failed to recover from the shock.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Ugarph chapel. Burial will be in Springdale cemetery.
The deceased was 83 years old. He was born in Bornsville, Ohio. His wife, Allie Balle, preceded him in death. He is survived by Mrs. M. Benedict and Mrs. Ida Corbett of Clinton and two grand children, Lois Kohler and Irene Kohler.
