John "Jack" Henry Lorenzen, 89, of Clinton, Iowa, died Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in Spring, TX. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting snellzornig.com.
John was born April 7, 1931 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of William and Ann (Bentrup) Lorenzen. He was educated in the Clinton Schools. He married Darlene Humphrey November 3, 1950 in Clinton; she died June 4, 2015.
John was a US Army Korean War veteran.
He was employed at Clinton Corn Processing for 39 years, retiring in 1991.
Survivors include his son, Jim J. (Lisa) Lorenzen of Spring, TX; brother, Robert (Lynn) Lorenzen of Minnesota and nieces and nephews, Regina Melvin, Gretchen Horst, Michael Lorenzen and John Lorenzen.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his brother Richard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
