James P. Shea, 2302 Montgomery street, St. Louis, Mo., died at Mercy hospital yesterday afternoon at 2:15. Mr. Shea had been employed as foreman inspector for the Missouri Boiler and Iron Works, St. Louis, Mo., which firm has a sub-contract building the tanks for the new ice plant being constructed by the Western Ice company here.
He came to Clinton a week ago and was staying at the Y. M. C. A. Wednesday he was taken sick with double pneumonia and his wife and son were sent for Saturday night. They arrived just before his death Sunday and took the body to St. Louis this morning. Mr. Shea was 62 years of age and had been employed by this company for 40 years.
