Mrs. Peter H. Christiansen, nee Gertie Jacobsen, passed away at the family hoe Saturday night at 7:30 after an illness of two days. She was born July 12, 1856 in Denmark. She was preceded in death by two children and her husband died seven years ago.
Left to mourn are four sons, Peter C. of Dixon, Illinois; Carl J., with whom she made her home; Marius of Dixon, Illinois; and Julius H., of Winthrop, Iowa; and one daughter, Mrs. Densina Rohwer of Clinton, and four step-children, John of Davenport, Mrs. George P. Paulson, and Mrs. H. Henningsen of Clinton and Mrs. Andrew Thompson of Low Moor.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at the home in Low Moor and at 2: 30 at the Danish Lutheran church in Clinton with Rev. J. Hoist officiating. Mrs. Harry Eaton and Mrs. Fisher will sing. The pall bearers will be Harry Eaton, Curt Green, Walter Dannatt, Joe Griswold, Charles Everman and John Everett.
