Garden Plain, Illinois -- Mrs. Will George dropped dead just before noon today on the Asher Snyder farm across the road from her home. Mrs. George has had a weak heart for some time and the last attack came just after she had hurried across to the Snyder farm, where the house was on fire. The excitement and the hurry were the reasons for the failure of her heart, doctors said. Mrs. George leaves a husband and two children, Velma and Lyle.
Two children of the late Calvin George, who was Will George's brother, have been staying with her for some time. They are Franklin and Caroline. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.
