Rev. George Giglinger, D. D. of Keokuk will be celebrant of the solemn requiem high mass for the Very Rev. Anthony H. Schoeningh which will be held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Joseph's Catholic church scene of Father Schoeningh's pastoral labors for the past 13 years.
Other officers of the mass will be Very Rev. J. W. Gillespie, V. F., of Keokuk deacon; Very Rev. J. Walsh, V. F., of Ottumwa, sub-deacon. Very Rev. F. J. Leonard, V. G., Davenport, master of ceremonies. Rev. N. J. Peiffer, chairman of St. Ambrose college endowment fund, will preach the funeral sermon.
The chanting of the office of the dead will take place at 9:30 a.m., just preceding mass, Rev. R. J. Renihan of Davenport and Rev. T. Coleman of Bettendorf to be chanters. The reading of the lesson will be by Rev. J. M. Tritz of Lyons, Very Rev. William L. Hannon of Muscatine and Very Rev. U. A. Hauber, president of St. Ambrose college.
