Jean E. Henricksen, age 85 of Camanche, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Generations at Neighbor’s, Byron, IL. Private family services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at the Pape Funeral Home. Following the services cremation rites will be accorded with burial at a later date.

Jean was born in Clinton on August 13, 1935, the daughter of William and Evelyn (Kurtz) McDonald. She graduated from Lyons High School. Jean married Gene Henricksen on January 21, 1967 in Clinton. She had been employed at the Clinton Garment Factory, A.C. Nielsen, and later at PFC. She had been a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Camanche. Jean enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and watching TV, especially James Bond movies and Star Trek.

Jean is survived by her husband, Gene; two sons, Tom (Ami) Henricksen and Mike Henricksen both of Camanche; a grandson, Kyle Henricksen of Ankeny; 2 sisters, Nancy (Ray) Thurston of Maquoketa and Sharon (Lary) Hagen of Camanche and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Eleanor; and a brother-in-law, Donald Henricksen. A memorial has been established.

Private family services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at the Pape Funeral Home.
