Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock for Donald Eugene Palmer, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Palmer, from the C. H. Engel home 512 South Sixth street with Rev. E. G. Hunt pastor of the Lyons Methodist Episcopal church, officiating. During the services Miss Lillian Sheen sang two beautiful selections, "Abide With Me" and "Don't You Mind Your Sorrows." Interment was in Oakland cemetery.
Those from out of the city to attend the funeral were Mrs. George D. Metheney of Moline. Miss Edna Hoeschmann, of Davenport, Iowa, Mrs. Helen Palmer, Miss Ruth Palmer, William Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Palmer, Miss Josephine Holsinger of Fulton, Ill., and Mrs. Elmer King of Marion, Iowa.
