The funeral of the late Mrs. Margaret Wulf, who died last Saturday morning after a lingering illness, was held at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon with services at the German Lutheran church, conducted by Rev. L. Eschbach, after which interment was made in Evergreen cemetery. Underatker J. W. Kelly had charge. Margaret Reese was born Sept. 8, 1836, on the Island of Femern, Germany. She was married to Christian Wulf in 1856, who preceded her in death in 1870. She came to America with her son, James, in 1890 and settled in Clinton county and in Grand Mound in 1893. She passed away on Oct. 5, 1918, aged 82 years and 27 days. She is survived by four sons and two daughters, who are James of Grand Mound, Jacob of Maquoketa, Nicholas of Bliedorn, August in Germany, Mrs. Dora Carstens, Winside, Neb., and Mrs. Emma Farmkrog in Germany. She also leaves 26 grand children and 15 great grandchildren, besides a large circle of friend, who sympathize with those bereft of a kind and loving mother.
