Bob Peters, 71, of DeWitt, died Thursday morning, Aug. 13, 2020, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. Bobbie Lee Peters was born June 10, 1949, in Clinton to Leonard and Vera (Wulf) Peters. He was a 1967 graduate of Central Community Schools, DeWitt. On April 17, 1971, Bob married Phyllis Schroeder at Elvira Zion Lutheran Church. The couple resided in DeWitt all of their married life where they raised their daughter and son. He was employed by Liqui Grow, DeWitt plant and later for the Iowa Department of Transportation as an equipment operator until retirement in December 2015.
