Ferdinand B. DeBates, aged 19 years, a structural steel worker, fell from the fourth story of a new building being erected in Clinton, and was instantly killed.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Oct. 12, 1894 and died Oct. 17, 1913. He is buried in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
