Harry Briggs, brother of Mrs. W. McArthur of Clinton, was laid to rest at Davenport Sunday afternoon after funeral services at Hill & Fredericks' chapel. Mr. Briggs died at his home in Sioux City Friday. He leaves his wife, one son and one daughter. Davenport lodge of Odd Fellows conducted services at the grave in Oakdale cemetery.
Mrs. McArthur, George Steele Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. Orvill Gross of Clinton attended the funeral.
