Funeral services for Mrs. Gerhart Lange, who passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Louis Schmidt of Dennison, at 11:20 o'clock Sunday were held at Shadduck's chapel at 10 o'clock this morning. Rev. Carl Hesse of St. John's Lutheran church officiated and burial was made in the Ingwersen cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Otto Schagdt, Henry Sheplar, Herman Mohr, William Mohr, Richard Schoel and Edward Svendsen.
The flower girls were: Emily Mohr, Laura Mohr, Everall Lange and Hannah Andersen.
Marie Lange, widow of Gerhart Lange was born February 16, 1836 in Germany and was 89 years, 7 months and 3 days old at the time of death. Her husband preceded her in death 15 years ago and since that time she made her home with a daughter Mrs. John Mohr of near Lyons until recently when she moved to the home of another daughter, Mrs. Schmidt.
Left to mourn her death are two sons, John of Storm Lake and Otto, near Lyons and three daughters, Mrs. Schmidt, Mrs. Mohr and Mrs. John Schmecky of Crawford county.
