The many friends of Bob Erbs in this city will be deeply grieved to learn of his sudden death which occurred Sunday afternoon at Jane Lamb Hospital where he had been taken a week previous suffering from dropsy and heart ailment.

The deceased was born in Germany about 52 years ago and has lived in Clinton for a number of years. He leaves no relatives, but has hosts of warm friends throughout the city, as he was employed in the former Hart tailor shop her and just prior to his death he was following his vocation as a tailor in the J. Dahl shop on South Fourth street. While in Clinton the deceased resided at the Hart home on Seventh Avenue.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the Bragonier and Behr undertaking parlors with Rev. Burrell officiating and interment will be in Springdale cemetery.
