Sister Alfreda, instructor in the Lady of the Angel academy for thirty years, is dead at Clinton from pneumonia, the second death among the sisters of this disease. She leaves three brothers, Rev. Dan Gorman, president of St. Joseph’s academy at Dubuque; M. C. Gorman, D. D., of Anamosa, and two other brothers in Anamosa and one in Davenport.
