Warren D. Henschel, 60, of Dubuque, formerly of Clinton, went to be with Jesus in heaven on Monday, July 6, 2020 at his home.
Private Funeral Services will be held. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery with military honors being conducted by the Clinton AMVETS Post #28.. The Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family.
Warren David Henschel was born on November 21, 1959 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, the son of Erwin and Joyce (Lowry) Henschel. He was a graduate of Clinton High School and graduated with an AA degree from Clinton Community College. He served in the United States Navy on the John F. Kennedy from 1986 until honorably discharged in 1994. He was a hard worker and worked with Servicemaster in Dubuque for 20 some years. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed. He also enjoyed the good times growing up and visiting Mike & Gregg Tolvstead in LaCrosse and all his other nephews and cousins that are special and loved.
Warren is survived by his mother: Joyce of Clinton; his dear friends who were like his 2nd parents: Don & Jayne Banfield of Dubuque: their son: Jason Banfield; his dear friend: Peggy Tucker of Morrison, his aunt: Maureen Longcor of West Salem, Wisconsin; her son: Doug of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, and an aunt: Phyllis Retzlaff of Mankato, Minnesota, and many nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father: Erwin Buss, his brother: Steven, and his grandparents: Frank & Alice Lowry, and Erwin & Olga Henschel.
