Our community was shocked by the sudden death of Frank M. Dupler who was about his work as usual Monday, but was taken very ill in the night and Tuesday night was taken to a Cedar Rapids hospital where he died Wednesday morning. Dr. Dupler was 45 years of age. He was born in Pennsylvania and lived there till about ten years ago, where he came to Stanwood. He is survived by his wife and three children, his mother, two brothers and four sisters. Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church Saturday afternoon by his pastor, Rev. C.W. Cleveland. Mesdames Schick and Swift carried the flowers. Rev. and Mrs. Cleveland and Miss Nina Hart sand with Mrs. Tilden at the organ. Interment was made in the Stanwood cemetery.
