AGED WOMAN PASSES AWAY

Mrs. Eleanor Meyermann, aged 79 years, widow of the late Henry Meyermann passed away Wednesday night at 12 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Mohr, three miles north of Lyons.

Eleanor Schuler was born November 4, 1844, in Germany and came to America with her parents at the age of ten years, settling in Homewood, Cook County, Illinois. There she received her education and was married to the late Henry Meyermann on March 31, 1862. On April 1, 1862, Mr. and Mrs. Meyermann moved to Lyons, where they settled on a farm three miles north of the city and lived there until 1900 when they moved to Lyons.

For the greater part of the time Mrs. Meyermann has made her home with her son Carl Mohr.

She leaves to mourn her passing six children, Mrs. Carl Mohr, Mrs. William Mohr, William H Meyermann, Stuttgart, Arkansas; Mrs. H. D. Rosenberg, Lyons; Henry A. Meyermann, Boone, Iowa and George Meyermann., two sons having preceded her to death. The deceased also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Charlie Truman, Freeport Illinois; Mrs. J. Meier, California and Mrs. Doris Peters, Lincoln, Nebraska, also one brother Ben Schuler, Galena Illinois. There are also 29 grandchildren and two great granchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. D. Rosenberg, 320 Prospect Street, with further services at 2 o'clock from St. John's Lutheran Church. Rev. C. H. Jabker will officicate with internment in Oakland Cemetery.
