The funeral services for Mrs. J. A. McCulloh will be held at the home her sister, Mrs. John Bragonier, Princeton, Iowa, Monday, at 2:30 p.m. June 28th, with interment at Long Grove cemetery near Princeton, Rev. H. C. Culver, pastor of First M. E. church, officiating.
Mrs. J. A. McCulloh, nee Georgianna Zimmerman, was born in Sylvan, Penn., being one of a family of thirteen children, four of whom have preceded her in death, and eight of whom two brothers and six sisters survive here.
She was wedded to J. A. McCulloh, a childhood friend, and in 1882 Mr. and Mrs. McCulloh moved from the east to Princeton, Iowa, where they resided for nine years, removing to Clinton, Iowa in 1891, where they have resided since, and where J. A. McCulloh is well known, having been associated with the Leslie Grocery Co. for many years.
A lingering illness of something over a year brought the life of Mrs. McCulloh to its close at 3 p.m. June 25th at the home of her sister in Princeton, where she had lately been removed, in the fond hope that a change of residence amid the loving care of friends might serve to pro-long her life.
Mrs. McCulloh has been a life long consistent Christian uniting with the Methodist Episcopal church in early girlhood, she has been especially active in the work of the Woman's Foreign Missionary society, serving many years as local treasurer.
Relatives now in this vicinity are Mrs. John Bragonier, Mrs. J. Talston and Mr. John Zimmerman of New Carlisle, Ohio, reached Princeton shortly before the death of Mrs. McCulloh. Three sisters reside in Kansas and one at the old home in Pennsylvania.
Besides her bereaved husband and the mourning relatives, Mrs. McCulloh will be greatly missed by a close circle of friends.
