A. Jeanne Etheridge, 71, of Clinton, Iowa, died Monday, November 4, 2019, at MercyOne, Clinton. Services will be 10:30AM Monday, November 11, 2019 at Saint Paul Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held from 2-5PM Sunday, November 10, 2019 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be in the Springdale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be August Schultz, Paxton Schultz, Zachary Larson, Brady Melton, Colleen Jacobs and Jamie Etheridge. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting snellzornig.com.
Jeanne was born April 29, 1948 in Savanna, Illinois, the daughter of Osborn Frank and Alice (Freeman) Mills. She was a 1966 Savanna High School graduate and received her associate's degree. Jeanne Mills married Dale Etheridge April 7, 1995 in Reno, Nevada.
She had been employed as office manager at several auto dealerships, including Schuler Motors, Southgate Motors and Clinton Auto Group for many years. Most recently she was employed with DM Services, retiring in 2019.
She was a member of Saint Paul Lutheran Church and former member of Christ Episcopal.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Etheridge of Clinton; daughter, Wendy (Joseph) Schultz and son, Jamie (Jennifer) Etheridge both of Prophetstown, Illinois; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two brothers, Kenneth (Mary) Mills of Holiday Island, Arkansas and Frank (Jill) Mills of Harvard, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son Brian Larson.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Saint Paul Lutheran Church.
