John Nielson, a resident of Clinton for the past five or six years, died Friday afternoon at 1:30 in Marshalltown where he had gone recently. The remains were brought to this city this morning and the funeral will be held on Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the home at 20th street and Olney avenue and interment will be made in Springdale cemetery.
The deceased was 27 years of age and is survived by two brothers Fred and Arthur in this city; Axel in Rock Island and a brother Robert who is with the U. S. Navy in a foreign port at the present time. Two sisters, Mrs. McDuff and Miss Nielson of this city also survive with the parents Mr. and Mrs. Theodora Nielsen of this city.

Funeral services for John Nielsen were held from the home yesterday afternoon at 4:30. Rev. J. S. Leamer officiated. The pall bearers were Edward Ray, Arthur Daley, Geo. Adams, John Nielson, Edward Reynolds and Frank Nelson. Burial was made in Springdale.
